Overview
OPmobility is developing the Accounting Regional Hubs to operate the R2R accounting processes. This position focuses on the EMEA region and is expected to deliver general accounting, intercompany transactions, and account reconciliations for the country business groups. The role demands high‑quality work, adherence to regulatory requirements, corporate accounting and internal control policies.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the day‑to‑day posting of the General Ledger entries, assessing the completeness and accuracy of the financial data for accounts including intercompany invoices/credit notes.
- Supervise / perform allocations, record accruals / provisions / prepayments.
- Supervise the process of intercompany month‑end activities accordingly.
- Ensure month‑end activities are delivered timely and completely, including justification of account backlogs for entities’ accounts.
- Be responsible for General Ledger account reconciliations.
- Supervise posting and reconciliations for intercompany, fixed assets, intangible assets (mostly projects), logistics, customer‑supplier claims, VAT, banks, physical counts, sub‑ledger reconciliations, net equity reconciliations between local‑tax and group reporting, cash forecast.
- Provide regular updates and analysis to N+1 (KPIs, SOP).
- Work with the R2R BPO to standardize and streamline R2R activities.
- Ensure compliance with local, international financial regulations and Group standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accountancy and/or Finance.
- 10+ years of experience in similar Finance operations management roles within industrial groups and SSC organizations.
- Leadership skills: ability to listen and adapt.
- Collaboration skills: ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse stakeholders (Finance, IT, Business groups, auditors). Habit of interacting and communicating with various nationalities and cultures.
- Adaptability: self‑starter with emotional intelligence able to adapt to fast‑changing environments.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of SAP Finance, Microsoft Office, RPAs, Microsoft Power Automate, data visualization tools (ex: Power BI).
- Fluency in English plus at least one major European language (German, French, Spanish) is an asset.
