We are looking for a business-oriented senior QA engineer to join one of our project teams responsible for building a Card Tracking System for one of the global humanitarian organisations.
This position supports both manual testing activities (approx. 70% of working time) and automated tests. It includes collaborating with the product owners and engineers to define testing needs and priorities, creating test plans, scripts, and strategies for new product initiatives as well as improving user experience while optimising our software development life cycle. Agile mindset, flexibility, and excellent prioritising skills are must haves in this role.
Your job will include
- Testing new functionalities in accordance with their specification (70% manual tests, 30% automated tests)
- Defining acceptance criteria for features and optimisation of testing processes
- Close collaboration with developers & PM team on the app implementation
- Conducting various non-functional tests to evaluate aspects such as performance, usability, reliability, scalability, security, and compatibility
- API testing and endpoint testing (Postman)
- Maintenance of documentation
Preferred skills & experience
- At least 4 years of full-time commercial QA experience including significant product experience (both web and mobile)
- Knowledge of various testing frameworks and their adaptation to project needs
- A client-focused approach coupled with excellent communication skills (youll be involved in business meetings)
- The ability to adapt to changing contexts and priorities
- Experience with DB testing (e.g. PostgreSQL, DataGrip), performance testing, and API testing (e.g. Postman, Swagger, REST, Charles)
- Experience with non-functional testing: performance, load, stress testing
- Experience with API automation testing (TS/JS)
- Solid knowledge of Git and CI/CD tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Accuracy and attention to details
- Very good level of English & Polish (we work in an international environment, but within the company we communicate in Polish)
