As a Cloud Data Engineer you will be working for our client, a dynamic and fast-growing technology company that delivers tailored IT and engineering solutions, including web platforms, e-commerce systems, mobile applications, and AI-based systems. The client provides end-to-end development and maintenance of Google Cloud services, supporting organizations in their digital transformation. For one of their key partners, a leading FMCG company in Europe - they are seeking a Cloud Data Engineer to join a long-term project in Warsaw focused on modernizing analytics and reporting capabilities through Google Cloud technologies.
responsibilities :
Analyze business goals and translate them into efficient data solutions
Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and integration mechanisms
Develop and optimize data models to support analytics and reporting needs
Implement and maintain data governance standards and documentation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver business requirements
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows and system performance
Recommend architectural and engineering improvements in data infrastructure
Work closely with application providers to develop and enhance data flows
Automate data ingestion, transformation, and quality control processes
Ensure security, compliance, and consistency across all data environments
requirements-expected :
Strong proficiency in SQL with experience optimizing complex queries
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataflow, Composer)
Solid programming skills in Python and familiarity with Git
Experience in building and maintaining cloud-based data solutions
Understanding of data governance principles and best practices
Proven ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical deliverables
Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Working proficiency in English (minimum B2 level)
