GCP Cloud Data Engineer

Warsaw based opportunity with a hybrid work model - 2-3 day/week in the office.

As a Cloud Data Engineer you will be working for our client, a dynamic and fast-growing technology company that delivers tailored IT and engineering solutions, including web platforms, e-commerce systems, mobile applications, and AI-based systems. The client provides end-to-end development and maintenance of Google Cloud services, supporting organizations in their digital transformation. For one of their key partners, a leading FMCG company in Europe - they are seeking a Cloud Data Engineer to join a long-term project in Warsaw focused on modernizing analytics and reporting capabilities through Google Cloud technologies.

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Strong proficiency in SQL with experience optimizing complex queries
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataflow, Composer)
• Solid programming skills in Python and familiarity with Git
• Experience in building and maintaining cloud-based data solutions
• Understanding of data governance principles and best practices
• Proven ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical deliverables
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Working proficiency in English (minimum B2 level)

Nice to have:

• Experience with BI tools such as Qlik Sense, Looker Studio, or Tableau
• Possession of formal data-related certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Data Engineer, Data Analyst, Data Architect)
• Familiarity with Data Governance concepts and frameworks
