GBS Financial Controller
We are looking for a finance professional who will take ownership of cost control activities within our Global Business Services center in Katowice.
This position plays a key role in reviewing and improving how costs are allocated across supported countries and GBS structure. You will look at the full cost picture, analyse trends, spot inconsistencies, and propose better and more effective solutions.
You will work closely with leaders across the GBS, including three Department Heads (RTR, STP, OTC), Finance Business Partners, and a Cost Controller.
To succeed, you will need a strong understanding of general ledger processes, intercompany flows, and controlling. Your insights will directly support better financial decisions across the organization.

This role is a great fit for someone who feels comfortable navigating both accounting and controlling topics and wants to have a real impact on cost transparency and decision-making within a global GBS.
- Strong accounting background, especially with RTR processes and intercompany.
- Experience in controlling or financial analysis.
- Ability to handle large amounts of data and dig deep into financial details.
- Confidence in working independently and improving existing solutions.
- Very good Excel skills; Power BI knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with Oracle or Oracle Cloud would be an advantage.
- Ability to present financial information clearly, including to non-finance audiences.
- Fluent English.
