Job Description

The Role

We are looking for a Futures Senior Specialist to join our international client in Warsaw, Poland.

Main Purpose

Actively contribute to the day‑to‑day running of the Futures Operations teams. Work across all available resources within the department. Take accountability for limited people responsibilities and coordinate production issues. Ensure that BAU work is completed as per agreed schedules. Develop the role and ensure succession management within this role.

Job location

Warsaw, Poland – Hybrid model, onsite for 3–4 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Suggest and implement new processes to improve efficiencies within the area.
• Onboard new business, ensuring minimum disruption to existing operations.
• Handle ad‑hoc requests promptly.
• Assist junior team members with development and knowledge transfer.
• Process and allocate all relevant exchange‑traded derivatives in a timely manner.
• Monitor and re‑advise previous day’s key trades to brokers until business is accepted.
• Perform daily reconciliations, highlight and investigate cash and position breaks, and elevate issues as needed.
• Investigate and resolve trade‑related queries and brokerage failures quickly.
• Maintain system static data for GMI/TEO/Clearvision and other applicable systems.
• Escalate related issues to management as required.
• Identify and recommend improvements in the maintenance and collation of Futures Operations data.

• Proficiency in Excel and Word.

• Experience implementing global projects with strategic direction.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships at all levels across the organization.
