We are partnering with a leading global investment bank to recruit a Futures Senior Specialist for their Warsaw office. This role sits within the ETD Operations team and is critical to ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of Exchange‑Traded Derivatives (ETD). The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contribute to process improvements, and support global trading operations.

As a Futures Senior Specialist, you will actively contribute to the day‑to‑day running of the Futures Operations team, ensuring BAU tasks are completed accurately and on time. You will also play a key role in onboarding new business, resolving trade‑related queries, and driving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensure all Exchange‑Traded Derivatives are processed and allocated accurately and on time.
  • Perform daily reconciliations, investigate cash and position breaks, and escalade issues as necessary.
  • Monitor previous day kerb trades and liaise with brokers until business is accepted.
  • Investigate and resolve trade‑related queries and brokerage fails promptly.
  • Maintain system static data across platforms such as GMI, TEO, and Clearvision.
  • Assist with onboarding new business and integrate processes with minimal disruption.
  • Suggest and implement process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
  • Support junior team members with development and knowledge sharing.
  • Escalate production issues effectively and recommend areas for improvement in data maintenance.

The Ideal Candidate Will Bring:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Solid experience in operations and understanding of the trade lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with systems such as UCP, GMI, LISA, TEO, Clearvision, Eurex GUI, SEALS, Fastfill, LME Smart, ACT, PTMS, ECS.
  • Experience with process reengineering, cost‑saving initiatives, and global project implementation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
