Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliation of general ledger balances to the sub-ledger
- Prepare detailed reconciliation packages for internal reporting
- Identify, investigate, and resolve accounting exceptions and mismatched items
- Monitor and track aged breaks on balance sheet accounts
- Ensure financial reporting deadlines are consistently met
- Analyze recurring issues and actively participate in process improvement initiatives
- Act as a point of contact for the Balance Sheet Substantiation team and respond to their queries
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and third-party administrators through professional and clear communication
- Resolve data inconsistencies between internal records and information provided by external parties
- Support onboarding of new clients, processes, and solutions within the team
- Manage and update Static Data based on incoming requests
- Participate in or lead assigned projects, driving technical improvements and efficiency initiatives
- Support Business Managers with ad hoc tasks as needed
Requirements
- 3 - 5 years of experience in financial operations, reconciliation, or accounting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage deadlines effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Proactive approach with a mindset focused on process improvement
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial tools
