Responsibilities

• Responsible for delivering cash or securities operations servicing clients. May concentrate on a specific aspect of the business (transaction processing, asset servicing, collateral, funds, banking, reconciliation, investigations …). May also lead or contribute to projects or initiatives in the areas of operational efficiency, risk, quality, regulatory and strategy.
• Responsible for processing a range of highly specialized operations. Operations usually require research or investigation of information outside of normal procedures.

Role

• Requires good knowledge of bank products, services and procedures in the area of expertise.
• Direct access to the function typically requires previous experience in Euroclear or in a back office banking environment.
• Has reached a satisfactory level of polyvalence in most of the tasks and processes of the team. Is able to control adequately most of the processes and escalates when necessary and solves escalation jointly with the team leader.
• Is able to handle some risky operations.
• Contributes to the continuous improvement of the team.
• Participates in problem‑solving sessions, raises gaps in working methods, reviews operational procedures in own area of expertise and may participate in projects or initiatives.
• Usually trains and coaches in some processes.
