Contract Job Title: Associate, Fund/Client Accounting II or Senior Associate, Fund/Client Accounting (depends on the role you are chosen for).

Team Overview: Private Equity & Credit Fund Accounting

The PE&C Fund Accounting Team handles NAV calculation processes with quarterly deadlines. The funds invest in bonds, loans, and private equity funds. The team interacts with external clients and internal teams, maintaining high standards and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and deliver NAV reports to clients
  • Coordinate with custodians, trust companies, and stakeholders to resolve reconciliation issues
  • Manage fund expense budgets and calculate management fees
  • Review profit and loss reports and allocate income to investors
  • Calculate incentive fees per waterfall provisions
  • Process capital events like calls and distributions
  • Liaise with clients, managers, and auditors
  • Ensure regulatory reports and ad-hoc requests are completed timely
  • Support onboarding and training of new team members
  • Identify and implement process improvements to reduce risks and enhance efficiency

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in fund accounting or related fields
  • Proficiency in Business English (min. B2)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Understanding of double-entry bookkeeping
  • Advanced Excel skills; VBA knowledge is a plus
  • Knowledge of Geneva or Investran is advantageous
  • Supervisory experience is favorable
