The Asset Pricing Oversight Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participating in a variety of fund and asset valuation activities in coordination with Citi colleagues across multiple global locations. The overall objective of this role is to assist in the sourcing, validation and application of market valuations for equities, fixed income, FX and derivatives within daily and periodic Net Asset Valuations (NAVs) for funds.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the work activities to ensure timeliness and accuracy of asset valuations
- Both directly perform key daily activities as well as validate similar activities carried out by colleagues
- Monitor the completeness and accuracy of offshored functions
- Act as an escalation point for questions and research from both internal and external teams
- Assist in developing training materials and training employees, and act as escalation point for questions and research
- Ensure procedures and controls are followed and the integrity of the data processing environment is maintained
- Proactively assist manager in identifying need for and implementing procedural changes, assist in BAU administration of team
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firms reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of relevant experience
- Experience in accounting, finance, or business-related area
- Experience in Fund Accounting, Middle Office and/or Fund Administration
- Demonstrated Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge in market data related activities with a focus on the pricing of equities, fixed income, money market, FX and listed derivatives
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
