Who we are looking for

As an AIS PERA Fund Accounting & Administration Supervisor you will be a part of our team responsible for reporting for our Private Equity or Real Assets fund clients. You will be responsible for review of all PERA Fund Accounting processes to ensure all clients’ reporting is prepared with the highest quality and accuracy in a timely manner.

We are looking for a committed candidate who as a part of Alternative Investment Solutions will collaborate with other departments to find new solutions for complex business challenges, who is open for improvements and who can take advantage of opportunities.

The successful candidate will need to take initiative, exercise independent thinking, maintain an excellent and interactive relationship with team members, global business partners and, most importantly, our clients.

What you will be responsible for

• Managing and overseeing daily PERA Fund Accounting processes (Cash Bookkeeping and Cash Reconciliations, accounting for accruals, prepayments and valuations, Period End Reporting including NAV Calculations)
• Reviewing associates work
• Providing excellent client service
• Directing interactions with both clients and business partners in Home Sites
• Promoting risk awareness, assessment and control within the team
• Participating in system testing and implementation of improvements
• Delivering training
• Providing regular feedback to manager and more senior colleagues

Must have

• 2-3 years of PE accounting experience required to respond to client queries and discuss accounting treatments
• Comprehensive knowledge of double entry bookkeeping
• Understanding of different Real Asset and Private Equity fund structures like Fund of Funds, Infrastructure, Private Credit or Direct Investment Funds
• Ability to properly analyze Limited Partnership Agreements and accurately account for all Private Equity specific transactions like capital calls and distributions, management and performance fees, income and expenses, monthly and quarterly valuations
• Ability to calculate Net Asset Valuations and Investor Allocations of various Private Equity vehicles.
• Good command of English
• Team player

• Ability to work on your own initiative, develop solutions and provide input which enables effective decision-making and ownership

Nice to have

• Experience with property review accounting like: Net Assets, Operating income, Depreciation check, Fixed Assets, AvB Reports, Debt Valuation schedule and Rent calculation
• Experience with Investor reporting, WSO reports, Bank Loans
• Experienced in preparing general ledger and financial statements
• Knowledge of Oracle, Geneva, Investran and MCH
• Finance, Accounting, Business Degree would be an asset
