For our client, one of the worlds largest banks, we are looking for Fund Accountants for various departments: private capital, transactions, or reporting, with at least one year of experience in fund accounting.

Responsibilities:

1. Ownership verification for funds of funds, private equity, and real estate funds including their SPVs and all underlying structures based on the provided documentation.
2. Record keeping of investment transactions such as capital calls and distributions for funds of funds, equity purchase, debt financing, and real estate investments for PERE funds.
3. Reviewing investment documentation such as Limited Partnership Agreements, subscription agreements, shareholder/land registers, and Capital Account Statements in order to verify ownership of the assets invested.
4. Identifying if all documentation received and contacting the client if additional documents are needed.
5. Performing cash monitoring and other depositary controls over funds of funds and PERE funds according to directives (AIFMD) and regulations.
6. Preparation of portfolio reports based on own record keeping, liaison with counterparties and locations.
7. Investigating discrepancies and ensuring strong internal controls.
8. Maintaining communication and relations with internal and external clients and other key stakeholders.
9. Active participation in the evolution of the department.
10. Supporting the integration of new operational activities.
11. Being the main point of contact for clients.
12. Contributing to the company’s goals.

Requirements:

1. University degree or student.
2. Knowledge of Private Capital will be considered an advantage.
3. Understanding of the recordkeeping process of transactions such as capital calls and distributions for funds of funds, equity purchase, debt financing, and real estate investments for PERE funds will be considered an advantage.
4. Understanding of the AIFMD regulation.
5. Technical expertise on relevant applications associated with the process, including knowledge of the FIA e-Front platform will be considered an advantage.
6. Excellent organization and communication skills.
7. Willingness to take on new challenges and look for enhancements in existing processes.
