Fund Accountant in Private Capital Team
Your responsibilities:
- Perform all BAU tasks related to Fund Accounting in a timely manner and according to procedures.
- Actively participate in internal or external projects, migrations of the process and ensure that all the deadlines are achieved.
- Perform daily bookkeeping.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly cash reconciliations for the Funds.
- Prepare clients files with accruals calculation.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly valuations of the Funds.
- Perform, execute and materialize controls for managed operational processes.
- Proactively communicate any cases that could be subject to escalation.
- Maintain superior relationship with business partners and clients.
- Coaching/on-the-job training of new employees.
- Proactively support line Team Leader in relevant topics and respond to queries from internal and external sources.
Requirements: - Strong command of English (min C1)
- Accounting skills are essential, experience in corporate accounting, audit or private equity firms is a must.
- Good Knowledge of Private Capital fund structures/regulations will be considered an advantage.
- Sound understanding of accounting principles, financial markets, financial instruments and debt instruments.
- Intermediate/Advanced command of MS Excel and other accounting packages.
- Orientation to detail, analytical and problem-solving approach.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational & communication skills.
- Willingness to take on new challenges and look for enhancements in existing processes.
