Functional Programming/Haskell Developer

Remote

• Become a part of a team of senior developers and help our long-term partner in expanding their fintech services to the world’s biggest retailers.
• Bring exceptional Functional Programming skills and follow the best practices in the system that requires secure coding and efficient solutions.
• Apply a holistic approach, independent thinking and a get-things-done attitude into the project.
• Collaborate closely with a dozen more team members in the US to ensure security for sensitive data of thousands of users and consistency of thousands of daily financial transactions.

Your Profile

• Solid experience in Functional Programming - Haskell, Elm, Elixir, Go, F#, C# (FP Style), FP-TS, Clojure, Erlang, Scala, Kotlin, etc.
• Willing and able to learn Haskell.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Docker, AWS is preferred.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.
• Experience building scalable/high performance production code on the front and back end.
• Experienced in developing high performance/high throughput APIs.
• Familiar with extending merchant platforms: WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, Shopify.
• Self-starter with good communication skills and knows how to work well with others.

This concept holds true in every team of our company, which has been on the market since 2010. It’s one of the first organizations to operate 100% remotely since its very foundation.

Today we have almost 60 people on board, working from many cities around the world. In Poland, we have permanent offices in Warsaw, Wroclaw and Rzeszow.
