about-project :
The individual in this position will be responsible for the model-based development of controls and operational management for our power electronic components specifically within the context of heat pumps, photovoltaic inverters, and energy storage products. This role encompasses the creation of innovative technical functions and control algorithms, covering the entire specification, analysis, design, and testing process.
responsibilities :
You will play an important role in the model-based development of controls and operational management for power electronic components, as well as in the simulation and analytical design of robust controls using MATLAB/Simulink in the context of heat pumps, photovoltaic inverters, and energy storage systems.
You will be responsible for the analysis of product’s and system’s requirements characteristic for a given domain of development.
You will be designing and validating the functions and algorithms at an early stage of development using simulation methods to obtain best quality and performance. Validate the results through model-in-the-loop, software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop test environments.
You will support the integration of developed software components into the overall system.
You will support the documentation of the developed functions and interfaces.
requirements-expected :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferable in the field of electronics, automation & controls, computer science or any comparable course of studies.
Experience in the development of control systems for power electronic converters, battery management and photovoltaic inverters.
You feel confident in dealing with control technology and digital signal processing in the field of power converters.
Experience in model-based development with MATLAB / Simulink (Simscape toolbox) and automatic code generation.
General experience and knowledge regarding software development for embedded systems.
Very good English skills, German is a plus.
