Responsibilities
You take ownership of a new project , with the opportunity to build and lead your own development team.
As both the Team Lead and Technical Lead , you will oversee the development of Java applications for a key client in the German financial sector.
You lead your team using Agile methodologies , fostering collaboration and mentoring team members on technical best practices.
You act as the point of contact for the client, ensuring smooth project coordination and communication.
You work with a technology stack:
Backend: Java 17 (or Kotlin), Spring Batch
Frontend: React, Material UI
Testing: Junit, Mockito
You are responsible for the product you build.
You actively contribute ideas to develop innovative solutions.
You work in an agile environment, using scrum.
You meet with your team in the office (Katowice) at least once a month to plan your work and discuss progress.
You have the possibility to develop yourself not only as a leader but also as a developer.
Qualifications
Excellent communication skills in English.
Communication skills in German is a plus.
Successful completion of higher education as a qualified IT specialist or university degree in computer science.
At least 8 years of experience working as a Backend or Fullstack developer with Java, ideally with React as well.
Experience in code testing.
Experience working in an agile environment.
Experience working in a self-organized team.
Good familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
Leadership project experience is a plus.
