We are looking for a Fullstack Java Engineer to join a key initiative within the banking sector focused on implementing the Payment Services Directive (PSD2/PSD3). The role will be part of the Open Banking Development Hub, where we design and deliver digital API services supporting business banking customers.
The team is building a new, unified API platform, enabling secure and scalable access to financial services across multiple Nordic markets. This solution plays a crucial role in the digital transformation journey, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while supporting modern integration capabilities and enhanced customer experience.
This project requires work in a hybrid model: 3 days per week in the Gdynia or Gdańsk office.
responsibilities :
Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs within the Open Banking / PSD2/3 domain
Collaborate closely with cross-functional Scrum team members to deliver high-quality technical solutions
Optimize and enhance existing services to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability
Participate in code reviews, contribute to architecture discussions, and follow best engineering practices
Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and quality standards across delivered components
requirements-expected :
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Java development within complex or enterprise environments
Proficiency in Angular as well as Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and distributed systems
Practical experience with Oracle, GIT, Maven, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
Strong team collaboration and communication skills with experience working in Agile/Scrum setup
Fluent English
Fluent in Polish and residing in Poland required
