about-project :
The Growth Hacking team’s mission is to accelerate customer and revenue growth across US and International markets. As a Software Development Engineer II, you will be part of a cross-functional squad focussed on identifying and executing high-ROI opportunities that drive new customer acquisition, increase revenue, and boost retention. You will rapidly prototype solutions to customer problems, run A/B tests, and iterate with speed - all while ensuring your work meets Remitly’s platform standards and long-term product vision.
You will report directly to the Engineering Manager, based in Poland.
Design and implement APIs to communicate between front-end and back-end systems.
Develop prototypes rapidly to solve complex problems.
Contribute to code reviews, sprint rituals, hiring, and mentoring.
Contribute to the architecture and technical roadmap of our software systems, balancing short-term goals with long-term scalability and maintainability.
Create clear and articulated plans for software implementation and testing.
requirements-expected :
A BS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
3+ years of software development experience.
Professional experience with one of the following programming languages: Typescript, JavaScript, Kotlin, Java, Go.
1+ year React or React Native development experience.
Proficiency in an RDBMS like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
Knowledge of basic architecture, systems design, and agile practices.
Good communication skills.
Fluent English on B2 level or higher.
