Fullstack Developer (React, Node.js)

ING Hubs Poland is hiring a Fullstack Developer (React, Node.js). This role involves designing, building, and maintaining features for the Backstage@ING platform, an open‑source solution that serves as a landing page for all ING developers.

Key Responsibilities

• 70% – Designing, analyzing and developing new features collaboratively with the team
• 20% – Application monitoring, support and contributing to refinements
• 10% – Scrum events, daily meetings and operational tasks

Squad Information

The squad directly cooperates with the Backstage Core team to create and maintain templates, plugins and automated processes that comply with ING standards on the Backstage@ING platform.

The position follows the global ING job architecture and will carry the title “Engineer III”.

Qualifications

• More than 3 years of experience in React and/or Node.js development
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript ES6+, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS
• Experience writing unit tests for applications
• Basic understanding of SOLID, KISS, DRY principles
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written

Extra Points

• Basic knowledge of CI/CD
• Agile experience (e.g., Scrum methodology)
