Junior Software Developer - Tietoevry Education

The Role

As a Junior Software Developer at Tietoevry Education, you will:

• Join a skilled cross-functional team where youll learn and grow alongside experienced developers
• Contribute to developing software products that improve schools across the Nordics
• Work with modern technologies in an agile environment with strong mentorship and support
• Collaborate with your team to shape ways of working, both internally and with surrounding teams

What Were Looking For

Essential qualifications:

• University degree in computer science, software engineering, or a relevant field
• Experience creating web applications using C#, .NET Core & Angular
• Familiarity with databases (SQL Server or similar)
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Fluency in Swedish and English (verbal and written)

Nice to have:

• Exposure to Azure cloud services
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Interest in AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot or similar)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and test automation
