Citi Markets and FRM Technology are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join the FRM Technology Team that is developing strategic stress engine calculators nested on Hadoop solutions estimating liquidity forecast according to regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

1. Developing existing application and creating new functionalities with good coding and design standards
2. Collaboration within the international Team to deliver the application functionalities successfully and effectively
3. Be proactive and ensure the software developed by the Team remains compliant with prescribed best practices
4. Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users
5. Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement
6. Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems
7. Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes
8. Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts
9. Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
10. Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
11. Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members.

Qualifications:

1. Java programming with 3+ years of experience with Gradle, Maven
2. Angular with 3+ years of experience
3. Experience with Big Data solutions, in software architecture, redesign, refactoring, Linux/shell scripting and with SQL, GIT
4. Willingness to learn new technologies and solutions
5. Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
6. Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
7. Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods
8. Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
9. Advanced English
10. Strong problem solving, analytical thinking, communication skills

Education:

1. Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
