What we achieve together

Smart Customer Solution is a department within Vaillant Group IT developing software platforms that can be composed to an integrated customer journey. Our development teams are formed considering domain driven design and each delivers its own frontend, backend, and APIs to other apps. Our teams have end-to-end responsibility and work in Scrum. The team member we are searching for has deep technical knowledge and wide experience in software development and would enjoy working with the team in pair or even programming.

• You will create and develop applications using best development practices as well as transform ideas and designs into application code and working functionalities.
• Managing our platform end to end – from strategy to operations and support (including product documentation and deployment processes and CI/CD practices) is your asset.
• You will design and implement test scenarios for components, evaluate and improve product effectiveness and efficiency to ensure our platforms success.
• Working with backend developers to integrate UI components with APIs and databases as well as getting in contact with our Platform Owner to get proper priorities and understand current users needs is important to you.
• You will build our organization, improve yourself, our team, and our platform.

What makes us successful together

• You have a university degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge and understanding of PostgreSQL databases is required.
• You have the ability to use Prisma ORM, experience with cloud solutions (MS Azure, Terraform), and container solutions (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Agile methodologies are your way of working and communicating within the team and stakeholders.
• A strong desire to learn new skills – also outside your current professional area – is needed.
• You are open to sharing your knowledge and experience with other team members.
• Excellent English communication skills are a must-have.
