We are searching for a Full stack engineer with DevOps skills

For this role, we are looking for someone to join Nykredit – one of the banks BEC Poland works closely with.

Nykredit is both a bank and a mortgage provider owned by an association of customers. Being customer-owned, they are in a unique position to give something back to their customers when they are doing well. Together they can simply do more for their customers and for society.

This position is based at our friendly office in Warsaw and you will join our CI/CD team within the Platform Engineering department. The team is in charge of building and maintaining the tools that power our entire organizations CI/CD pipeline, enabling development teams across various technologies to perform optimally. The products we build are in the cloud and we service applications in both the cloud and on-prem setup. The team has flexibility to choose and build their own tools for CI/CD.

The Full stack engineer role offers to be in a close relationship with customers – development teams, for which you will be creating the tools. At Nykredit, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, but we also keep the opportunity to work remotely up to 8 days per month. Your direct manager will be Michael Hejselbak Weber-Hansen.

Primary task and responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain internal tools for developers using Java and Angular
• Create and automate CI/CD processes to support diverse development teams
• Build, run, and maintain CI/CD infrastructure
• Provide support for the tools and systems you create
• Build tools for developers working with various technologies

To succeed you will have:   

• Strong proficiency in Java 11 and Angular 17/Typescript for internal tool development
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools (like Kafka, Kubernetes/Openshift and Jenkins)
• Understanding of CI/CD principles and implementation
• Understanding the needs of diverse development teams
• Positive approach towards support and maintenance tasks
• Ability to translate developer needs across different tech stacks into effective tools and automations

It’s nice-to-have:

• Familiarity with multiple programming languages (e.g., C#, Python) is beneficial
• Experience with Groovy
