The IT company Andersen invites an experienced Full Stack Developer (Angular+Node.js) to work on a large-scale project for one of our UK customers.
The customer is the worlds largest P&C insurance company and the leading commercial lines insurer in the United States, with operations in 54 countries, it provides commercial and personal property-casualty insurance and supplemental health insurance. The company has administrative offices in Zurich, New York, London, Paris and elsewhere and employs approximately 40,000 people worldwide.
The main task is to create visually appealing and highly functional user interfaces and convert UI/UX designs into fully functional web applications.
Technology stack on the project: Angular 17, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, NoSQL, Azure Blob, GitHub.
Responsibilities:
- Developing front-end web apps using Angular, HTML, and CSS.
- Building and maintaining back-end capabilities using Node.js and Typescript.
- Working with Azure solutions, such as Azure Blob, Cosmos DB and Azure Table Storage.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective application development.
- Troubleshooting and debugging web applications to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
Must-haves:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience in Full Stack development for 5+ years.
- Experience in developing front-end using Angular.
- Experience with Node.js.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Proven experience with NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency in Azure Blob Storage.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Good understanding of version control, via the use of GitHub.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Level of English – Upper-Intermediate and above.
