responsibilities :
Next-Gen Tooling: Design, build, and maintain internal tools, configuration systems, and CMS platforms that allow game designers to balance gameplay and manage assets in real-time.
Data-Driven Decisions: Help shape and implement complex systems with dashboards that visualise player metrics and game economy data, turning raw numbers and various sources of data into actionable insights.
Backend Scalability: Engineer optimized backend solutions with mainly Django, sometimes also flask, fast-api focusing on efficient database queries and API performance to support heavy data loads.
System Creation: Help create and design interfaces according to modern standards and ensure the reliability of content delivery pipelines.
AI-Driven Prototyping: Use the power of Artificial Intelligence to rapidly prototype concepts and accelerate coding workflows, using AI assistants to validate ideas faster and push technical boundaries.
App Monitoring: Leveraging for real-time bottleneck identification and performance optimisation.
requirements-expected :
Experience: Around 5+ years as a Full Stack Developer or Backend. A proven track record in the GameDev or Data-Tech industry will be a big plus.
Stack Mastery: Deep expertise in Python (Django/DRF) coupled with optional modern frontend proficiency inReact and TypeScript.
Modern Build Tools: Some experience with Vite architecture and tooling; ability to optimize build times and application performance.
Complex Systems: Some experience working with large-scale Content Management Systems (CMS), Asset Management tools, or data-heavy platforms.
Database Proficiency: Strong command of SQL (PostgreSQL preferred) and experience optimizing queries for large datasets.
Monitoring & Observability: Proven ability to maintain system health and rapidly diagnose production issues.
Testing Culture: Strong commitment to code quality and reliability, with experience writing unit tests for both backend (e.g., Pytest).
Collaboration & Methodology: Active participation in Agile/Scrum rituals (daily standups, sprint planning) and a strict adherence to Code Review standards to ensure quality. Exceptional cross-functional communication skills are essential to thrive in a predominantly remote environment, as you will be building central systems that impact the daily workflows of every team in the company (from Design and Art to QA and DevOps).
