Frontend Engineer (Trading Systems)

Contract Length: 8 months initially

Work Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week at Krakow or Wroclaw office)

Rate: €250 - €300 per day

I'm currently partnering with a leading global financial institution on a contract opportunity for a React/JavaScript Developer to join a high-performing team building real-time desktop applications within a trading environment.

This role focuses on developing high-performance applications running within an OpenFin desktop ecosystem, enabling seamless communication between financial systems.

What we're looking for:

• Strong JavaScript experience, particularly asynchronous programming (async/await, Promises, event-driven architectures)

• Solid React development experience

• Experience with OpenFin or similar desktop containers (e.g. Glue42, Finsemble, Electron in financial environments)

• Exposure to inter-application messaging / interoperability standards (e.g. FDC3) is highly desirable

• Strong debugging and performance optimisation skills in real-time systems
