As a Frontend Developer , you will be working for one of the most prestigious investment banks in the world. In this front-office role, you will join the Systematic Trading Strategies Engineering team, contributing to the development of cutting-edge user interfaces for complex indices across derivatives, including FX, Commodities, Rates, and Single Stock. Your work will play a critical role in enhancing the performance of the low-latency system, which processes significant trading volumes daily.

Your main responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a dynamic team of full-stack developers to design and implement high-quality front-end applications
• Apply modern CSS techniques and tools, such as css-in-js and SCSS, to create responsive and visually appealing UIs
• Adhere to sound programming principles, utilizing design patterns and unit testing with tools like Jest
• Leverage modern frontend workflows, package managers (npm), and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab) to streamline development processes

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• A minimum of 4 years of commercial frontend development experience
• Expertise in modern CSS techniques and tools like css-in-js or SCSS
• Strong knowledge of programming principles, including design patterns and unit testing
• Working knowledge of frontend workflows, package managers (npm), and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab)
• A keen appreciation for and understanding of good UX principles (nice to have)
• Experience with Ag-grid library or Cypress (nice to have)
• A degree-level qualification in a technical subject (computing or mathematics) is preferred but not essential
