We are seeking a Frontend Developer to join our System Platform teams. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with exceptional communication skills, capable of working alongside colleagues from various international locations. As a key part of ABB Automation, our team builds the robust infrastructure and libraries that enable product teams to develop a wide range of applications for multiple industries.
As a Frontend Developer, you will collaborate within a cross-functional, agile team dedicated to delivering outstanding user and developer experiences.
responsibilities :
Developing a micro-frontend host and web components using TypeScript and DOM.
Introducing or requesting new tools to improve team productivity.
Designing and developing greenfield products using microservices and micro-frontends architecture.
Ensuring high quality in the developed products with great user experience.
Participating in the whole software development lifecycle from analysis, design, implementation, testing to delivery, following best DevOps practices.
Guiding teams in building quality products with our stack.
Collaborating within cross-disciplinary, international teams that operate in English and follow agile development methodologies, which require consistent engagement in all team activities.
requirements-expected :
5+ years in web development using TypeScript, Vanilla JS, DOM and Web Components.
Strong in data structures, abstraction, performance and microfrontends/microservices.
Understanding of CI/CD and containerization (Docker/Podman).
Required tools: Git and testing frameworks.
Experience in Rust or strong interest to learn it.
Bonus: knowledge of Kubernetes, Vite, Vitest, C# (reading), GitHub, or Azure Pipelines.
Bachelor Degree in Software Engineering or similar.
