Front End Web Developer

Katowice, Poland. (Initially Remote on B2B contract)

Note: This role will start as fully remote and then Hybrid 3 days in office after 6-9 months

The Role:

We are seeking a highly creative Front End Web Developer with a primary focus on building Web Pages and airside UX to work with our product and marketing teams. You will be involved with multiple products and projects, working in a results-based, environment. We value good communication skills and the ability to challenge conventions. The ideal candidate will have a strong skill set in our required tech stack, an enquiring mindset, and keen attention to detail. There will also be opportunities to learn new technologies and skills including full stack.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the design team to quickly translate mock-ups and wireframes into responsive , functional web pages, ensuring SEO best practices.
• Design, build, and refactor internal Web tools used by our back and front office staff for customer support.
• Handle multiple projects , communicate delivery updates to founders and team members, and present/demo new features and modifications.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented code, continually seek improvements , and debug and resolve technical issues as needed.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

• Expert level in Bootstrap, jQuery or similar frameworks (3-5 years).
• Ability to integrate popular extensions, focus on solving problems and proposing your own solutions.
• Strong UX design skills with attention to detail, experience working from Micro or Figma wireframes.
• Ability to work from a specification and deliver exactly what is required.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Structured approach with the ability to keep Jira and Confluence tasks up to date.

Nice to have:

• Engineering or Mathematical Degree
• Exposure to build environments using Jenkins
• Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
