• We are looking for a Front-end Developer experienced in NextJS, who will support our customers by creating an innovative, global e-commerce platform.
• The program has the ambition to create a next-generation e-commerce platform that aims to provide seamless end-to-end support for our clients. This future e-commerce platform will replace the 3 current e-commerce platforms that support the business and will eventually be deployed across 25 countries.

• Working on topics related to implementation in the Next Generation front-end for e-commerce
• Providing technical consultation on front-end related topics
• Taking part in code review to help improve the team’s knowledge and to suggest improvements
• Acting as a mentor and guide on technical issues for junior developers
• Investigating the latest technology and building quick Proof of Concept functionalities to address future business needs
• Promoting the best-in-class development principles and quality standards – i.e. Clean Code, BDD/TDD
• Contributing in the Development Community of Practice to agree and endorse the development principles and best practices for the company development teams
• Helping the organization structure complex engineering issues: technology, development methodologies, Continuous Improvement / Continuous Delivery

• At least 4 years of proven track record in Front-End Developer role
• Minimum 2 years of commercial experience in NextJS
• Professional experience with modern JavaScript web framework (React)
• A solid understanding of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts
• Knowledge of software craftmanship principles (Clean Code, Clean coder, Clean architecture)
• Knowledge of architectural design patterns
• Previous work with writing automated tests (e.g. Jest, KarFa, Jasmine, Mocha, AVA, tape)
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery using continuous delivery tooling such as Jenkins/AzureDevOps and practical experience with Docker containerization
• Understanding of performance, cross-browser / cross-device development, testing, optimization, and front-end performance requirements
• Fluency in English – verbal and written
