We are currently recruiting for positions of English into Romanian Translators.

JOB INFORMATION

• Type of cooperation: long-term, freelance
• Location: remote cooperation; ideally located between UTC+0 and UTC+3
• Work hours: available to answer e-mails during office hours (9-17 CET, Mon-Fri)
• Availability: translate 8‑10k words a week

Who Are We Looking For

Professional translators skilled and experienced in localizing texts from English into Romanian.

Responsibilities

• Translating from English into Romanian, chiefly video games
• Proofreading texts in Romanian
• Ensuring deadlines are met
• Collaborating with PMs and translators

Requirements

• Excellent Romanian language skills (punctuation, grammar, spelling, gaming and pop‑cultural slang)
• Very good command of English (MUST)
• Even better command of Romanian
• Experience as a professional translator or editor, preferably in game or e‑sport localization projects
• Linguistic degree preferred; last year student also acceptable
• Attention to detail
• Problem‑solving attitude
• Friendly attitude
• Passion for games is a plus
• Proficiency in CAT tools is an advantage

The first step is completing a language sample. It consists of small fragments of various texts, chiefly related to video games, with a 24‑hour deadline. Our in‑house linguist will review the sample and we will provide feedback within two weeks.

To avoid double taxation, you must provide a tax residency certificate before the first payment.
