Freelance Game LQA Tester - Dutch Speaker
TransPerfect Games seeks a native Dutch‑speaking Game Localization QA Tester for freelance contract work based in Warsaw, Poland. The role involves testing high‑profile games across various platforms to ensure linguistic quality and accuracy.
Position Overview
The Game Localization QA Tester will work as part of a testing team to identify and fix issues affecting localization, write bug reports, perform regression testing, and collaborate with partner teams to maintain high standards.
Responsibilities
- Identify, isolate, document, and resolve localization and linguistic issues, verifying fixes using test tools or databases.
- Follow and complete test cases and checklists to conduct targeted testing.
- Write bug descriptions based on company standards and client specifications.
- Apply knowledge of user preferences in the target market to influence product decisions.
- Proactively identify gaps in test coverage.
- Collaborate with partner teams during product testing.
- Offer constructive feedback on gameplay, fun factor, and game balance based on target market knowledge.
- Complete other tasks deemed appropriate for the role.
Qualifications
- A regular game player with a passion for the video games industry.
- Native‑level Dutch (testing language) with excellent spelling and grammar.
- Good command of English for instructions, documentation, and communication.
- Experience in gaming LQA.
- High school diploma or equivalent (degree in a related field is a plus).
- Excellent attention to detail and a “can‑do” attitude with strong work ethic.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Understanding of digital technologies (mobile, tablets, browser tools, etc.).
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Positive attitude and adaptability to fast‑paced, innovative environments.
Bonus

- Familiarity with different testing methodologies.
- Experience with game localization.
- Familiarity with bug tracking systems such as JIRA, Mantis, ADO, Bugzilla, and/or CAT tools like SDL Trados, MemoQ.
Additional Requirements
- On a mandate contract.
- Must have the right to work in Warsaw; must provide supporting documentation. Eligible citizens or residents: Polish, EU member, or permanent resident with work permit/visa.
- Required to work onsite during core business hours (Mon‑Fri, 8 h per day) at the Warsaw office; must be based in the Warsaw area or within commuting distance.
