For one of our clients – a stable, international distribution company with a global footprint – we are currently recruiting for a newly created FP&A Business Analyst role within the Corporate Finance structure. This position is ideal for someone who wants to work close to the business and support senior management and the Management Board with high-quality analysis and actionable recommendations.
The FP&A Business Analyst will be responsible for end-to-end financial and operational analyses supporting key business decisions. The role has a strong business partnering focus and involves daily, cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Product teams and Business Partners.

Scope of Responsibilities

• Preparing financial and operational analyses to support business and investment decisions.
• Building and developing business cases and financial models (scenarios, assumptions, recommendations).
• Analysing financial results, commercial KPIs and the effectiveness of business initiatives (e.g. pricing, promotions).
• Performance management: analysis of SG&A, costs, and identification of optimization opportunities.
• Cross-functional cooperation with Marketing, Sales, Product teams and other stakeholders.
• Preparing presentations, insights and recommendations for Senior Management and the Management Board.
• Supporting the annual planning and forecasting processes.
• Simplifying reporting and processes, improving the quality of analyses, and leveraging BI tools and AI solutions.

Requirements

• Very strong data analysis and financial modeling skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and experience with Power BI (or other BI tools).
• Experience working independently and partnering with senior stakeholders.
• Fluent English.
• Strong business mindset with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills, proactivity, and the ability to drive topics to closure.
