YOUR IMPACT
The Forecasting Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate forecasts to support business planning, inventory management, and financial performance. This role involves analyzing historical data, market trends, and business insights to create reliable forecasts, which are essential for strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
FORECAST DEVELOPMENT
- Develop and maintain accurate forecasts using statistical methods, historical data, and market analysis.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams to gather input and ensure forecast accuracy.
- Adjust forecasts based on new information, market trends, and business initiatives.
- Input forecast into FM system, create Forecast Modification Requests, and develop analysis in SAP.
DATA ANALYSIS AND REPORTING
- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and business insights to identify patterns and forecast drivers.
- Prepare and present regular forecast reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key insights and variances.
- Monitor forecast accuracy and implement improvements to enhance reliability.
COLLABORATION AND COMMUNICATION
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align forecasts with business goals and operational plans.
- Communicate with central team in Paris.
- Communicate forecast changes and assumptions to relevant stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Participate in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings to discuss forecast updates and business implications.
PROCESS IMPROVEMENT
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in forecasting and demand planning.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends, forecasting methodologies, and technology advancements.
SCENARIO PLANNING AND RISK MANAGEMENT
- Conduct scenario planning to evaluate the impact of different business strategies and market conditions on forecasts.
- Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate forecast uncertainties.

PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Professional proficiency in English; knowledge of French will be a plus.
- Proven experience in forecasting, data analysis, or a related role within supply chain, finance, or business planning.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in forecasting software and statistical tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of SAP and FM system and supply chain management software is a plus.
