Job Purpose and Impact

The Food Safety and Quality Specialist will assist in establishing, maintaining, and conducting audits to ensure compliance with all existing regulatory and quality systems within the company. In this role, you will support the processing facility by reviewing third‑party certifications and preparing responses to customer inquiries, inspections, reports, and complaints arising from quality and food or product safety inspections.

Shift work: 7 am–3 pm, 3 pm–11 pm.

Employment type: Replacement contract – fixed‑term employment (approximately 20 months).

Location: Słupca, Greater Poland Voivodeship.

Key Accountabilities

  • Promote food or product safety awareness throughout the plant, develop the competencies of plant specialists, and assist others with topics related to food or product safety, hazard analysis, and critical control points.
  • Assist others with food or product safety issues by training new team members in food or product safety procedures.
  • Monitor production processes from a quality perspective – monitoring temperatures, glass and plastic inspections, etc.
  • Identify and update specific quality procedures, instructions, and tools directly related to food and product safety.
  • Accurately complete internal and external safety and quality audits, including addressing non‑conformances at the site.
  • Manage basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
  • Experience in a production environment.

Preferred requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and strong computer skills.
  • Basic knowledge of quality assurance and food safety.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, BRC and IFS standards is a plus.
  • Fluent Polish – daily work in Polish (English is a plus).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
