What we are looking for:

• Master/Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or similar
• Min. 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in GL/Fixed Assets
• Experience with SAP is crucial (knowledge of SAP P03 will be an advantage)
• Very good German skills (min. B2)
• Good English skills
• Strong analytical skills and good all-round MS Excel skills
• Ability to work analytically, focus on details and high accuracy
• Proactive attitude
• Team player
• Diligent, independent and systematic approach to work
• Flexibility and adaptability

In your new job you will:

• Record in the accounting system newly acquired fixed assets and those disposed
• Track, compile, and record project costs in fixed asset accounts; close out the accounts at the completion of the projects
• Perform depreciation calculation for all fixed assets
• Perform reconciliation of fixed asset subsidiary ledger balance with summary-level account in the general ledger
• Perform an update on the detailed schedule of accumulated depreciation and fixed assets
• Record fixed assets by creating and supervising a system of procedures, forms, and controls
• Allocate tag numbers to fixed assets to effectively track them
• Perform analysis related to fixed assets when requested by management
• Be the first contact person for the Fixed Assets matters
• Prepare audit schedules for fixed assets and help out auditors when they have inquiries
