We are seeking a highly skilled and immediately available Fixed Asset Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s fixed assets, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the fixed asset register.
- Perform regular asset audits and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Prepare and review depreciation schedules.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to track and manage asset acquisitions and disposals.
- Provide support during internal and external audits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in fixed asset accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
