Firmware Development Lead

• Defining and designing the architecture of firmware components, considering factors like performance, power efficiency, and compatibility with hardware,
• Writing, debugging, and optimizing firmware code in low-level languages,
• Collaborating with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of firmware with hardware components,
• Identifying areas for firmware optimization to enhance system performance and reduce power consumption,
• Implementing security features and protocols within firmware to safeguard against vulnerabilities,
• Preparing weekly reports of the development progress,
• Preparing monthly reports confirming that the contracted work is performed properly.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication, Computer Engineering, or a related field,
• 5+ years of experience in firmware development with Embedded C,
• Familiarity with low-level transport protocols (SMBus, I2C, SPI, MCTP, RMII) and manageability protocols like NC-SI and RDE,
• Agile approach to software development, following SCRUM methodology where applicable,
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail,
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment,
• Good English.
