Role Overview

For cooperation with our client we are looking for an experienced Fire Protection Engineer to oversee all aspects of fire protection and fire‑fighting system packages across all project phases—from scope definition and detailed design to commissioning and on‑site installation. The successful candidate will act as the primary technical authority, ensuring that systems meet the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise fire protection system packages throughout all project stages— from design and procurement to manufacturing, testing, and site installation.
• Prepare, review, and validate technical documentation for procurement and execution.
• Oversee final testing and quality verification at suppliers’ facilities.
• Participate in acceptance, pre‑commissioning, and commissioning of fire protection installations on‑site.
• Develop Fire Fighting Design Philosophy, Area Plans, and Fireproofing Plans.
• Design detailed underground and aboveground Fire Water systems, including hydrants, monitors, and fixed installations.
• Perform hydraulic calculations and determine optimal pipe sizing for Fire Water systems.
• Lead technical meetings with clients and vendors, providing clear engineering guidance and resolving issues.
• Ensure all Fire Fighting documentation meets accuracy, regulatory, and quality standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Fire Protection or Mechanical Engineering within industrial or large‑scale projects (oil & gas, energy, or infrastructure preferred).
• Proven experience in fire system design, installation supervision, and commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of relevant international codes and standards (NFPA, EN, ISO, etc.).
• Proficiency in hydraulic calculation tools and 2D/3D design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SmartPlant).
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
