As an Expert in Financial Accounting & Reporting, you will be responsible for end-to-end general ledger activities, including monthly and annual closings, preparation of financial statements in line with local GAAP and IFRS, and managing centralized accounting processes such as asset accounting and FX valuation. Working in a dynamic international environment, you will collaborate with various departments and contribute to finance transformation initiatives, process improvements, and automation projects.
responsibilities :
Independently process daily accounting transactions, including booking and reconciling accounting documents
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities for selected legal entities
Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements in compliance with local GAAP and IFRS
Support the audit process by providing required documentation and responding to audit queries
Maintain accuracy and integrity of general ledger data for Swiss and international entities
Execute centralized accounting tasks such as FX valuation and Asset Accounting
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Analyze financial data and suggest improvements to optimize accounting workflows
requirements-expected :
A degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
Minimum 4 years of experience in international financial accounting and reporting, including at least 2 years of hands-on experience in a General Ledger role
Experience with SAP (preferably in Financial Accounting and Asset Accounting modules)
Solid understanding of local GAAP (e.g., Polish Accounting Standards) and IFRS
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to independently manage closing activities (monthly, quarterly, yearly)
Very good communication skills in English – C1
Openness to process improvements and change initiatives
