What the day will look like

1. Review financial statements and supporting schedules from assigned business units to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting (during MEC).
2. Resolve issues with reported data with operating subsidiaries.
3. Consolidate results in accordance with US GAAP including the generation of adjusting and eliminating journal entries.
4. Submit schedules and reconciliations of key Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss accounts to Global Consolidations Team.
5. Prepare ad-hoc financial reports, as needed.
6. Maintain existing processes and documentation, and provide recommendations on improvements in processes and controls.
7. Prepare analysis and other information to support audit requests.
8. Run special projects as requested by management.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

1. At least 2-3 years proven operational experience in accounting function.
2. Master degree in Accounting/Finance.
3. Experience in a multinational shared services environment.
4. US GAAP or IFRS experience.
5. Good English – minimum B2 Level (CEFR scale or equivalent).
6. Strong communication skills.
7. Strong motivation to work in a dynamic international team.
8. Strong knowledge of MS Office (advanced MS Excel).
9. Additional accounting qualifications would be considered as an asset.
