The FP&A Team Lead manages the daily transactional operations of FP&A (sub-) processes to deliver services that meet Service Level Agreements and customer expectations, improves operational effectiveness and efficiency, leads the process of solving operational issues, and drives people management and development.
Your responsibilities:
- Hold responsibility for timely and correct execution of ongoing transactions of respective (sub-) process (i.e., reporting, cost allocation).
- Accountable for consistent and ongoing application of rules, guidelines, and policies set by Global Finance.
- Monitor ongoing execution of (sub-)process in accordance with global process design.
- Support the FP&A process design and the management of change requests (e.g., by Local Finance).
- Ensure SLAs are met, including regular performance reporting to internal clients.
- Manage resolution process of issues within (sub-) process area and align topics with relevant stakeholders.
Performance Management and Leadership:
- Support and manage implementation of continuous improvement measures (including automation, process streamlining, participation in group-wide solution projects).
- Contribute to achieving operational efficiency targets and realization of aligned business requests.
- Lead SSC FP&A team members to ensure staff performance, motivation, and development (including ongoing coaching and appraisals).
- Support functional onboarding of new team members.
Reporting:
- Prepare management reports, including data gathering, validation, and consistency checks (monthly, quarterly, year-end performance, sales, cost, and functional reports).
- Provide management commentary for reports in scope.
- Review and validate management reports; liaise with Local Finance for input and stakeholder reviews.
- Coordinate and monitor month-end activities related to Controlling (allocations and settlements).
- Support the annual budgeting process (including gathering historical information).
- Support CO-related data management and drive FP&A project activities.
Our requirements:
- University degree, preferably in Finance, Controlling, or Business Administration; Postgraduate degree is a plus.
- CPA, ACCA, CMA, CIMA, or equivalent certification is a plus.
- 7+ years of relevant experience, including 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills (additional languages are a plus).
- Ability to work under pressure with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- High numerical and analytical skills.
- Healthcare industry experience.
- Experience in multi-state, multi-legal entity environments preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of governance, standard management reporting, and planning processes.
- Flexibility, customer focus, initiative, resource management, and continuous learning capabilities.
- Solid experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, cost controlling, and profitability analysis.
- Proven experience in a shared services environment.
- Strong commercial finance skills, including preparing business cases and performance analysis using KPIs.
- Proficiency in management reports, presentations, group reporting standards (IFRS), and compliance.
- Ability to collaborate across departments and contribute to cross-functional projects.
