What you will be responsible for

As Financial Crimes Compliance Program Manager you will

  • Design and steer the overall evolution of State Street Bank Internationals (SSBI) Financial Crimes Compliance program

  • Support the streamlining of policies & procedures throughout all SSBI locations in Europe

  • Manage and harmonize reporting to and exchange with AML and sanctions regulators in SSBI jurisdictions

  • Develop SSBIs central case investigation process in close collaboration and alignment with regional and global FIUs

  • Strengthen and refine the Financial Crimes Outsourcing governance & oversight procedures

  • Support the evolution of SSBIs FCC Risk Assessment by analyzing internal and external data and information sources

  • Take over project lead responsibilities for Financial Crimes Compliance related projects and initiatives

  • Lead governance meetings by setting meeting agendas to discuss progress and address issues to achieve development milestones and objectives

  • The Program Manager will actively communicate the status of work with other team members to ensure that everyone involved is fully informed.

What we value

  • Deep understanding of core financial crime risks, in particular Anti-money laundering (AML), Know-Your-Customer (KYC) processes and economic sanctions

  • Program or project management experience in large and complex programs or projects

  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently together with different internal and external stakeholders

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills

  • Ability to multi-task and being responsible for different tasks / projects

  • Strong communication and relationship management skills

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 - 7+ years of relevant industry experience in banking or financial services

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent

  • Expertise in core financial crime compliance risks (AML, KYC, Sanctions)

  • FCC certifications or trainings would be a benefit

  • Experience with 1st or 2nd line FCC applications (KYC data base, monitoring or screening tools)

  • Proficiency in English
