Cost Planning/Profit Management Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Cost & Profit Management Specialist to lead financial oversight across project milestones. This role is responsible for cost analysis, profit tracking, and standardization efforts that support project success and long-term profitability.
Job Description
Cost management
- Conduct in-house cost calculations at each project milestone. During project development cost changes may happen and the impact on budget needs to be adapted.
- Evaluate and control project-related costs to ensure budget adherence.
- Set cost reduction targets and monitor progress.
- Manage cost-related activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Project profit management
- Perform lifetime profit analysis for projects.
- Set and define profit targets and report on profit status regularly.
- Collect RFQ (request for quotation) from other departments and perform cost calculation, analysis comparing to other projects.
- Make calculation changes based on new drawing received from R&D teams.
- Work on standardization of processes, propose improvements to be more efficient.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Business Management.
- Some experience in financial or accounting function.
- Experience in manufacturing is an asset.
- Fluent in English. Knowledge of other languages is an asset.
- Willing to travel abroad within our office locations in Europe.
- Able to build sustainable and professional relationships.
- Independent, initiative taker and a real team-player.
- Very good skill of Excel.
