Cost Planning/Profit Management Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Cost & Profit Management Specialist to lead financial oversight across project milestones. This role is responsible for cost analysis, profit tracking, and standardization efforts that support project success and long-term profitability.

Job Description

Cost management

• Conduct in-house cost calculations at each project milestone. During project development cost changes may happen and the impact on budget needs to be adapted.
• Evaluate and control project-related costs to ensure budget adherence.
• Set cost reduction targets and monitor progress.
• Manage cost-related activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Project profit management

• Perform lifetime profit analysis for projects.
• Set and define profit targets and report on profit status regularly.
• Collect RFQ (request for quotation) from other departments and perform cost calculation, analysis comparing to other projects.
• Make calculation changes based on new drawing received from R&D teams.
• Work on standardization of processes, propose improvements to be more efficient.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Business Management.
• Some experience in financial or accounting function.
• Experience in manufacturing is an asset.
• Fluent in English. Knowledge of other languages is an asset.
• Willing to travel abroad within our office locations in Europe.
• Able to build sustainable and professional relationships.
• Independent, initiative taker and a real team-player.
• Very good skill of Excel.
