DSV is a global transport and logistics leader. The Corporate Accounting and Finance department is looking to grow its Financial Controlling team within Group Finance. You will be part of the Corporate Accounting and Finance under Group Finance, responsible for all Group and Holding activities.

Work as Financial Controlling Specialist at DSV. You will join a team that supports the organization with numbers-focused, timely, useful, and accurate information. This role is in Warsaw and forms part of a global team with colleagues in Copenhagen, Warsaw, and Porto. DSV recently acquired Schenker, the largest acquisition in the company’s history.

Responsibilities

• Cost control for recharged Group staff costs
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of incoming invoices
• Collaborate with local DSV finance teams globally
• Bookkeeping for entities in the Corporate Accounting and Finance scope
• Participate in the month-end closing process
• Perform reporting tasks related to entities in scope
• Assist with identifying opportunities and improvements to deliver timely, useful, and accurate information
• Collaborate with accounting and other group functions to align with global guidelines
• Support integration tasks
• Opportunity to contribute to process optimization

Qualifications

• Education in Finance, Accounting or Economy
• Minimum 3 years of experience in finance, SSC/BPO, controlling or accounting within an international company
• Ability to analyze figures for cost controlling purposes
• Understanding of accounting principles and practical application
• English knowledge at minimum B2 level
• MS Excel proficiency
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus
• Good team playeriented to contributing to the team
• Independent, self-motivated, proactive and ambitious
