We are seeking a proactive and business-oriented Financial Controller to join our team. This is a newly created role, reporting to the Head of Finance, and will be the first Controller in the organization. The successful candidate will build and shape the function, providing strategic financial oversight and ensuring robust financial controls within our growing production company.

The Financial Controller will act as a trusted advisor to management, supporting key business decisions through accurate financial analysis, reporting, and insights. This role requires a hands-on, solutions-driven professional with experience in production or manufacturing environments, who can balance strategic thinking with operational execution, contributing to a high-performing and financially sound business.

Scope of Responsibilities:

• Developing, administering, and continuously monitoring budgets as well as budget revisions
• Preparing management reports and conducting advanced financial analyses
• Managing cost structures and driving initiatives to enhance the company’s economic performance
• Calculating manufacturing costs and determining optimal sales pricing
• Performing detailed analyses of production settlements
• Monitoring and reconciling material losses
• Planning and overseeing capital expenditure
• Defining, implementing, and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) across the organization
• Supporting the executive team in strategic and operational decision-making
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
• Conducting internal controls to ensure compliance and process integrity

Requirements:

• University degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
• Professional certifications such as CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent will be considered an asset
• Excellent command of the English language
• Ability to design and implement new financial and operational solutions
• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving mindset
• Results-oriented approach and ability to work independently
