Job Title: Financial Controller

As a Financial Controller , you’ll be responsible for the integrity and consistency of financial statements (incl. IFRS) and statutory reporting, as well as ensuring compliance with accounting policies and standardized processes for organizational reporting units in scope.

1. Act as a primary contact for the Finance Business Partner, coordinating interactions on financial and operational accounting performance across domains.
2. Ensure internal controls are set up in line with the Signify Internal Control framework; assess the effectiveness of these controls and define mitigation actions.
3. Drive and oversee improvement projects related to accounting processes and internal controls in cooperation with other domains.
4. Work together with RTR Accounting Managers in setting up priorities for Accounting Specialists.
5. Coordinate statutory audits and issue resolution.
6. Provide accounting judgment for complex and judgmental accounting issues and leverage the accounting network within the Accounting Reporting and Internal Control team to determine the correct accounting (approve all entries that require judgment and IFRS interpretation).

• Accounting expertise (IFRS advanced, local GAAP basic, tax accounting basic)
• Advanced knowledge of accounting processes
