Location: GSK Finance Hub – Poznan
We are seeking a highly qualified Financial Controller to join our Close & Control Team, supporting the commercial team. This role offers an opportunity to ensure the integrity of financial reporting for a key European entity, while gaining exposure to global finance operations within a leading biopharma company.
Manage the financial controlling activities for the assigned entity, ensuring compliance with IFRS and SOX.
Oversee the period‑end close process, including preparation of reports, analytical reviews, and ensuring timely and accurate statutory sign‑offs to the local Finance Director.
Supervise and mentor one or more direct reports, supporting their professional development.
Provide management reporting, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and working capital.
Conduct variance analysis for operating expenses, margins, profitability, and balance sheet health.
Ensure the timely and effective performance of internal controls and support both internal and external audits.
Provide business guidance in relation to local tax and statutory.
Act as the primary point of contact for local business units.
Contribute to business review meetings, providing financial insights and recommendations.
Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent professional experience.
At least 5 years of experience in accounting, audit, or financial controlling.
In‑depth knowledge of accounting principles.
Demonstrated ability to operate in a data‑driven environment.
Professional fluency in English (written and spoken).
Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience in multinational settings.
Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
