We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller for our client within the self-storage sector. This is an opportunity to join a rapidly expanding company and play a key role in supporting their finance team.

What we expect

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or Polish statutory auditor) preferred
• 7 years of progressive finance experience, including 3+ years in a controller or similar role within an international environmental, preferably in manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of Polish accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate law
• Experience with IFRS or US GAAP group reporting
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
• Fluent in both Polish and English
• A strategic thinker with strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills

What we offer

Your tasks

• Lead all accounting and finance activities for our Polish operations
• Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with Polish GAAP and group standards (UKIFRS/US GAAP)
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions
• Ensure full compliance with Polish tax, legal, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate internal and external audits and maintain strong relationships with auditors and tax authorities
• Provide financial insights and scenario analysis to support strategic decisions
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
• Drive the transition of processes to an in-house model, enhancing control, efficiency, and integration with business operations
• Develop and mentor a high-performing local finance team
